Qibla Direction

Find the direction of the Kaaba from your current or selected location using compass, map, or supported augmented-reality tools.

How to Find the Qibla

  1. Choose or detect your location.
  2. Enable compass permission if your browser asks.
  3. Hold your phone flat with the top edge pointing forward.
  4. Rotate until the Kaaba marker reaches the top pointer.
Improve Compass Accuracy
  • Move away from magnets, metal and electronics.
  • Remove magnetic phone cases or accessories if readings look wrong.
  • Move your phone in a figure-eight motion to recalibrate.
  • Compare with Map mode if you're unsure.

Device compasses can vary in accuracy depending on hardware and surroundings. Map mode can be used as an additional reference.
